A couple in Minnesota say they were amazed to be sent a bill for a wedding they were unable to attend at the last minute.

Jessica Baker and her husband had organised that Jessica's Mother would babysit their children on the day, but at the last minute she had to cancel.

The Bakers were disappointed, but didn't think about it again until they got a bill in the post some time later.

The invoice detailed the $75 the bride and groom had paid to have them at the event.

It included a note asking for an explanation as to why they had not attended.

The Bakers went public, and a local TV network covered their story though they have not named the couple in question.
