One of Ireland's leading broadcasters says students shouldn't pay attention to comments from the founder of the Web Summit yesterday - where he said he preferred Trinity graduates when hiring.
Paddy Cosgrave yesterday told the Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk that a 2:1 from Trinity is "pretty much" worth a 1st class honours from the other universities.Broadcaster Charlie Bird failed his Leaving Cert and never went to University.
He says the comments aren't helpful:This year's Dublin Web Summit takes place from the 4th to 6th of November.
