Winds will be mostly moderate or fresh southwesterly.
Tonight
Tonight, showers will continue to affect the west and northwest but elsewhere it will be largely dry and cold at first with clear spells.
Southerly winds will freshen overnight as cloud builds in from the Atlantic.
Heavy rain and very strong winds will arrive in Atlantic coastal counties towards dawn, before spreading quickly eastwards.
Minimum temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, but temperatures becoming much milder in the latter half of the night.
