The driver of a bus which crashed into a field in Co Waterford last night with 29 people on board has died.

It happened on the N25 at Grange in Ardmore at around 10.10pm last night.

None of the passengers were injured but the driver was taken to Cork University Hospital.

He died there in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Dungarvan garda station.
