Thousands of people have taken to the streets of Dublin to say that they're not going to pay their water bills.
Anti-water charge protesters are calling for a mass boycott of people paying the water charges.
Demonstrators marched to Leinster House in Dublin where many people binned their water bills.
Many chanted anti-government and anti-austerity slogans as they marched through the city.
Protestors were joined by a number of socialist and anti left-wing politicians who are calling for people to boycott the charges.
The first round of bills arrived through people's doors at start of the month. However, plans for today's protest hit a slight snag during the week when it was revealed that not enough homeowners had received their bills.
The campaigners also said that the money paid to Irish Water is going towards paying banking debts and not for the repair of the water network.
Estimates suggest more than 10,000 people turned out for today's demonstration.
Socialist TD Paul Murphy says the turn out for today's march shows that people are determined to fight the charges:
Socialist TD Joe Higgins says the message of non-payment is spreading through communities across the country:

Kildare County County Councillor Brendan Young earlier said: "We can make it unworkable by not paying it.
"If 40% of people don't pay then it's unworkable.
"Irish Water will simply become un-viable. Non-payment is the most effective action to force the Government to abolish water charges."
