It's a situation many people find themselves in at some point: your mobile phone rings - usually very loudly - at a very inappropriate moment. Whether that's in a meeting, a college lecture or other 'important' gathering, you will inevitably have a roomful of disapproving eyes suddenly look in your direction as you fumble to silence the device.
It's worse when you've chosen a particularly colourful ringtone. When a Senate hearing in the US was interrupted by a ringing phone, it was made weirder by the fact that the ringtone in question was 'Let it Go' from Frozen. Cue an embarrassed, frustrated Senator Pat Roberts attempting to turn it off.
