With the news that transport fares in the country are set to rise again, few of us think of the unicycle as a viable alternative for your early-morning commute.

But downhill unicyclist Gerald Rosenkranz shows the one-wheeled vehicle can tackle any obstacle that gets in its way while racing down one of the Alps in Austria, be it dense forests or beer-swigging tourists.
