With Christmas on the horizon, it is not uncommon for office workers all over the world to decorate their desks and cubicles in an effort to bring some tinselly joy into an otherwise run-of-the-mill 9-to-5 day. But some people go above and beyond the call of duty, crushing your battery-powered fairy lights with the kind of architectural constructions that would normally require planning permission.
Case in point, an office in Pennsylvania, where worker Melissa O’Neill has constructed a snow-capped log cabin with trees and a sled inside. In a video posted to Facebook by her colleague, the cardboard-tube chalet can be seen in all of its glory, decorated with Christmas lights, a wreath, stockings, and a sign reading ‘Merry Christmas.’
