As far as advertising stunts go, this is a pretty elaborate one - at least conceptually. Billboard Magazine teamed up with Ogivly Brazil to give music fans a chance to relive their favourite concerts – through hypnosis.
Ogilvy called on fans to contact them through social media and then invited a select few to a theatre where hypnotist Rogerio Catilho put them under and brought their minds back to the time of their favourite gigs – from Madonna in 1981 to Santana in 2011.
Judging by the footage it seems to have worked pretty well, with the fans drawn right back into the moment and experiencing every note and beat again just as they did.
