It was all going so well for 007, with his girls and puns helping keep the world’s nefarious organisations at bay, whipping out his increasingly silly gadgets whenever the need would arise. Laser watch; invisible car; collapsible helicopter – you name it, James has got it. And then Jason Bourne arrived and kicked ass with a biro, and suddenly 007’s toys looked really silly.
But with the latest instalment of the franchise, Spectre, breaking box-office records, the gadgets have wormed their way back into the Daniel Craig-Bond universe. Granted, his wheels don’t fade out of view at the push of a button, but they do at least come with buttons to push.
Across the series, Bond has made use of almost 200 cleverly-tinkered gadgets, and now someone with a lot of time on their hands had pored through all of the movies in the franchise, with the exception of Spectre, to combine every one of them into one supercut.
A must see for any Bond aficionado, or anyone who likes their wristwatch to also contain a garrotte. Watch the video below:
