Earlier this week, a group of 1000 musicians got together to send a message to Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, hoping desperately that they would come to the city of Cesena on their next tour so their fans there would get a chance to see them.
The resulting video went viral as they played a fantastic version of the famous Foo Fighters track 'Learn to Fly', and unsurprisingly, it was brought to the attention of the band.
Since their gesture was so amazing, Dave Grohl decided to send them a video in return in Italian, where he told them that he'd heard their call, and the band would definitely be visiting.
Although Dave claims he's not great at Italian, he still managed to say the following, with a pretty decent accent too: "Hi Cesena, I'm David. Sorry I don't speak much Italian, only a little bit. But your video, it was beautiful, incredibly beautiful. Thank you so much. We're coming, I promise. We'll see you soon. Thank you so much. I love you. Ciao".
