The annual Star Wars Celebration convention began on Friday in London, with a number of big events to get fans of the franchise excited. 

The list of speakers across the schedule of the event includes Mark Hamill, but one of the most notable ones was the appearance of Gareth Edwards, the director of Rogue One. 

Fans were hoping that they might get a glimpse of some new footage from the set as Edwards brings his vision of the Star Wars universe to life, and they weren't disappointed. 

A short behind the scenes look at the set and the locations of the next film in the franchise (but not the next chronologically) has given fans plenty to talk about as they await the movie's release in December of this year
