Some 400 new jobs have been announced for Cork and Dublin.
They are being created at the global outsourcing company VoxPro.
The roles, 350 of which will be based in Cork, are in technical support and customer experience.
This will being the company's Irish employee numbers to more than 1,400.
The firm has team members from more than 26 countries, transacting business in as many as 18 different languages.
Voxpro’s international and indigenous partners include brands such as Google, Airbnb and Nest.
Voxpro operates from three purpose-built facilities in Cork - as well as offices in Dublin, San Francisco and Folsom, with major global expansion plans over the coming years.
Welcoming today’s announcement, An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny said: "The creation of 400 new jobs by Voxpro is fantastic news for Cork and a boost to the reputation of the South West region as a growing hub for innovative companies".
CEO of Voxpro Dan Kiely told Red FM they plan to keep growing.
