Today, at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, Volkswagen will show off four of their more recent concept cars. Volkswagen is clearly showing their wares to the fashion conscious out there as four Beetles will take to the stage, each with their own theme.
The blue vehicle below is the Beetle Cabriolet Denim concept. The body colour is “Stonewashed Blue Metallic” and the manufacturer tells us that the dark blue soft top makes a “visual reference” to denim jeans.
Next on stage is the Beetle Wave concept. The colour of this is “Haberno Orange Metallic” and we’re told that this colour reflects “the American spirit on the East and West coast beaches of the USA”. The interior contains fabric patterns from the 1950s and 60s and a genuine wood dashpad which is “designed in traditional surfboard style”.
According to Volkswagen the Beetle Pink Edition will be the ideal choice for “style-conscious” people around the world. This coupé uses a “Pink Metallic” colour.
The most exciting of the four concept Beetles is the R-Line Concept. This is powered by a 2.0 TSI engine and offers 220hp. The colour is “Oryx White Pearl Effect”. Inside you will find bucket seats and “elements in leather-carbon look.”
