On rainy days like these it's easy to get down on ourselves, but this video might cheer up some of the Dublin-dwellers out there.
This week's '36 hours in...' series by the New York Times turns its camera lens on our very own capital city.
While it does focus on the more expensive side of the city, you can't say that Dublin isn't looking fantastic in the video.
Compliments abound, and the Times says that today's Dublin is less flashy and "finding a new way to exist."
It focuses on the wealth of cultural institutions, drinking establishments and restaurants, which it says are "undergoing a creative renaissance that prioritizes imagination and Irish ingredients over heavily stylized and overpriced dishes."
All sounds very nice, doesn't it?
