The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) has launched an investigation into a video on social media.
It appears to show a confrontation between gardaí and protesters at a property auction in Gorey, Co Wexford yesterday.
In a statement, GSOC says it is of the opinion that the public interest is best served by an independent investigation of the matter.

GSOC is appealing for anyone who may have been present and witnessed the events, or anyone with information which may assist the investigation, to contact them on 1890-600-800.
