A theme park is not what you'd call a cheap proposition. Designing and building a single new ride for Disneyland, Universal Studios or Dollywood (the world's best Dolly Parton themed tourist attraction) routinely costs tens of millions of euro, and even the less lavish designs do not come cheap. One Italian man, though, has opted to build a whole park for himself and the visitors to his restaurant.
Designing and welding the rides by himself, 'Bruno' has slowly managed to build an elaborate amusement park in a local wood near the northern city of Treviso. It might not have the production factors of the better known parks, but its picturesque setting is a beautiful location for these modest thrill rides. Attractions include large spinning wheels, giant slides, and an epic slide / roller-coaster hybrid. The park has been designed as an extra incentive for those looking to dine at the family restaurant Ai Pioppi that Bruno helps run.
Media company Fabrica has produced a short documentary about the unusual theme park, featuring some glimpses at the rides themselves as well as a look at Bruno's workshop. You can check it out below.
