Two teenagers chased down a car on their bikes when they spotted an abducted 5-year-old girl in the passenger seat.
The girl went missing outside an apartment complex in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
"It's something you don't wish on anybody. Horrible thoughts flashed through my mind," Tracey Clay, the girl's grandmother told Fox News.
Teenager Temar Boggs joined more than 100 first responders in search of the girl. He and his friend saw her sitting in a man's car and gave chase.
"As soon as the guy noticed we were chasing him, he stopped at the end of the hill and let her out. She ran to me and said that she needed her mom," Boggs recalled.
The mother immediately took the girl to hospital for a check-up.
