The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender wing of the Irish National Teachers' Organisation is celebrating its 10-year anniversary today.
The occasion is being marked with a conference in Dublin to highlight the importance of discussing the varying family structures with primary schools.
Members are calling on the Government to delete Section 371 of Ireland's employment legislation which threatens to discriminate against teachers based on their sexuality.
