The Health Minister Leo Varadkar and Michelin Star Chef Oliver Dunne are trying to arrange a lunch or dinner - in a hospital canteen.
It is after Oliver Dunne told Newstalk Breakfast that some hospital food is simply not nutritious enough to give to sick people.
Mr Dunne, whose cooking in the Bon Appétit and Cleaver East restaurants has earned him a Michelin Star, says that the food he has seen served on trays in hospitals is often inedible.
The Department of Health and Health Service Executive have already launched a working group to examine the issue of hospital food with both admitting that it varies widely from hospital to hospital.
In the wake of the chef's comments to Newstalk earlier this month, he is now going to meet Health Minister Leo Varadkar in a hospital canteen to sample the food.
But as the Minister explained, they are struggling to organise it at the moment.
Last week, Oliver Dunne cooked up a tasty, healthy hospital meal... for less than €2. You can watch the video here.
