'Day in the life...' type videos have become very popular over the last few years, but an Irish director has put a fresh spin on the idea with the short film Capturing Our Capital.
Rebecca Bermingham and her team planted disposable cameras around Dublin city, inviting passers-by to take their own snaps. Meanwhile, a camera crew filmed the spots were the cameras were planted, and emerged with a selection of funny, quietly moving and very 'Irish' moments.
It serves as a tour around the city, and the crew were lucky enough to capture some great scenes, including one group who tried to casually walk away with one of the cameras that was placed on Millennium Bridge and the quick response of a crew member who managed to get it back.
