Victims and families of those who died in the Omagh bombing are marking 17 years since the tragedy today.
It is hoped the anniversary will reinforce a message of peace for the North.
17 years ago today, 29 people lost their lives in the blast - the single biggest loss of life in a single incident of the Troubles.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow in memory of those who died and the 220 others who were injured.
Speaking with Citybeat, Michael Gallagher - whose son Aidan died in the attack - says it is important the community stays together:
Independent TD Mattie McGrath said, “I want to salute the courage and determination of the families as they mark yet another year when their unresolved questions about that terrible event went unanswered.
"Despite the Taoiseach’s firm assurances when he was the leader of the opposition in 2004, and despite the continual requests by the families to have a full cross-border inquiry initiated, they are no nearer to that goal today due to the lack of meaningful responses from members of this Government," he added.
