A viable pipe bomb has been made safe in Lisburn, Co Antrim.

The device was found near a car in the Colinbrook area last night.

A police operation was mounted and the PSNI helicopter was deployed.

The army bomb squad was also called in.

Residents had to be evacuated - but returned home after the operation at around 3am.
