Anti-American protesters in Turkey have attacked two US sailors, forcing white sacks over their heads and pelting them with missiles.
Footage of the incident in Istanbul shows about 10 demonstrators surrounding the pair, chanting: "Go home, Yankee, go home!".
The group also threw red paint at the servicemen before closing in to briefly pull hoods over their heads.
The pair manage to get away in the struggle and are chased down the road in broad daylight.
A US warship was docked nearby on an inlet of the Bosphorus Strait in the Black Sea.
One of the protesters tells the men: "Excuse me, you declare that you are member of the US Army and now because we define you as murderers, as killers, we want you to get out of our land."
The US embassy in Turkey described the incident as "appalling".

It said in a series of tweets: "While we respect the right to peaceful protest and freedom of expression we condemn today's attack in Istanbul, and have no doubt the vast majority of Turks would join us in rejecting an action that so disrespects Turkey's reputation for hospitality."
The demonstrators carried a banner of the Youth Association of Turkey.
A spokesman for the organisation, Melik Dibek, told the Associated Press news agency the Americans had acknowledged they were US servicemen.
The group posted video of the incident online.
