As voting gets into full swing for the next US President here are the key times you need to know to stay ahead of the US Election.
November 6th begins with the first votes cast in the tiny town of Dixville Notch in New Hampshire at 0500 GMT.
Polls open on the east coast at 1100 GMT.
The biggest section of results are expected between 0100 GMT and 0230 GMT on Wednesday November 7th.
However close results in states could lead to recounts and delays in some cases into mid-morning Irish time.
Some key timings:
New York - Polls open 1100 GMT, close 0200 GMT November 7th
Columbus, Ohio - Polls open 1130 GMT, close 0030 GMT November 7th
Miami, Florida - Polls open 1200 GMT, close 0000 GMT November 7th
Boston, Massachusetts (Romney hometown) - Polls open 1200 GMT, close 0100 GMT November 7th
Chicago, Illinois (Obama hometown) - Polls open 1200 GMT, close 0100 GMT November 7th
San Francisco, California - Polls open 1500 GMT, close 0400 GMT November 7th
The final state to declare will be Alaska where polls close at 0500 GMT.
The candidates will be at election rallies in their home towns.
