Two people are facing criminal prosecution after two children disappeared from a Dublin creche last year.
Two children wandered out of Giraffe Childcare centre in Belarmine in Stepaside in Dublin while there was a visit by farm animals and their handler.
It was one of three creches featured in a 'Prime Time' undercover investigation into alleged mistreatment of children.
Management at the creche later admitted the children had exited through a gate, which had been left open.
Gardai have now conducted their investigation.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has determined that charges should be brought against two people.
They are due to appear in Dublin District Court next month.
