Two people have died after a light aircraft crashed into a field in England, police have confirmed.
The plane was "100% alight" when crews arrived at the crash location in Abridge, near Chigwell.
It is believed to be an eight-seater Beech 200 King Air, and the two passengers who died were the only people on board.
It is unclear how many people were on board, whether they are hurt, or whether anyone on the ground has been affected.
Four crews are on the scene - and firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The local ambulance service has sent a rapid response vehicle, two ambulance officers and the hazardous area response team to the scene.
A fire service spokesman added: "The light aircraft came down shortly before 10.20am this morning.
"We would urge people not to attend the scene."
