The first violent incident happened at around 1am on April 16th when a couple were robbed and assaulted by two men on Chatham Row.

A 35 year old man was stabbed and his 22 year girlfriend was assaulted in the attack.

As Gardai were dealing with that incident reports emerged of a second violent stabbing outside Burger King on Grafton Street.

A 31 year-old man was stabbed during the robbery.

All three victims are being treated at St James's Hospital, the two men with stab wounds are said to be in a serious condition.

A 25 year old man will appear at Dublin District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30 this morning, charged in connection with these stabbings.
