Two men are due in court later this afternoon in connection with the seizure of guns and drugs in west Dublin.

They were arrested during the planned search of a house on Deansrath Avenue, Clondalkin last Thursday night.

Gardaí seized two 9mm pistols, two silencers and a quantity of ammunition, along with €6,500 worth of cocaine in the raid.

The men, one in his twenties and the other in his thirties, are due before Dublin District Court later today.
