Two men have been charged in connection with a significant cannabis seizure in Tipperary.

50-year-old Peter Whelan of Boytonrath, New Inn and his neighbour Raymond Farrell of the same address are both facing charges in connection with the discovery last Friday.

Mr Whelan is also charged with illegal possession of a shotgun

Both men have been remanded in custody to appear before Clonmel District Court next Tuesday
