Two men are due in court following the seizure of €160,000 worth of cannabis in two incidents in Dublin.

A man in his 30s was detained after gardaí stopped a car which was being driven in a suspicious manner in Clondalkin at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.

Officers discovered six kilos of herbal cannabis in the vehicle.

The man is being held in Ronanstown Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.

During follow up searches of a house in Clondalkin, a number of cannabis plants were discovered.

One man, in his late 30s, was arrested and is also detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
