Two men have been arrested after a massive drugs seizure in Dublin.

An estimated €1 million worth of heroin was seized as part of an intelligence-led operation targeting an organised crime gang operating in the Ballyfermot area.

The drugs were found when a vehicle was stopped and searched.

The men, aged 20 and 45, are detained at Kevin Street and Irishtown Garda stations in Dublin under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
