Gardaí investigating the seizure of drugs and a sub-machine gun in County Clare have arrested two men.
The men were arrested this morning after investigators carried out searches at a number of properties in Ennis.
A Garda spokesperson said the searches were carried out as part of an ongoing operation related to a number of drugs and firearms incidents in the county – including a major seizure in 2018.

A sub-machine gun was seized along with cocaine and cannabis worth €125,000 at Kilmurray in Sixmilebridge on August 24th 2018.
The men arrested this morning are being held at Ennis and Shannon Garda Stations.
