Two 14-year-olds have been charged with murder over the deaths of a girl and a woman in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

The two victims have not been officially identified but police say they are believed to be Elizabeth Edwards, 49, and her 13-year-old daughter Katie.

Their bodies were found at a house in Dawson Avenue, Spalding, on Friday afternoon.

The two 14-year-olds are expected to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.

DCI Martin Holvey, who is leading the inquiry, said postmortem examinations will be carried out in due course, but that police were looking to speak to anyone with any information that might be relevant.
