#Music is a new service that uses Twitter’s activity including tweets and engagement to uncover the freshest tracks and emerging up and coming artists.
Artists’ music related Twitter activity will be at the forefront. When visiting artists profiles, you will see which music artists they follow, what songs they listen to by those artists and tweet songs directly from the app.
The songs on Twitter #music will come from three music outlets – iTunes, Spotify and Rdio.
Previews will play by default from iTunes when exploring music in the application. Rdio and Spotify users will have exclusive access to listen to the full track of the previews.

If you like a song that has been tweeted by an artist or another Twitter user, following #NowPlaying will allow you to view and listen to those songs.
You can learn about new bands by tapping their avatar to see their top song, follow them or view their profile.
Fan of Wiz Khalifa for example? Search his name in the top right corner, tap one of the artists he follows that you’re interested in and play their music instantaneously.

You can tap the spinning disc in the bottom left corner if you find a track or artist you want to share with your followers.
The micro-blogging site said, “Twitter and music go great together. People share and discover new songs and albums every day. Many of the most-followed accounts on Twitter are musicians, and half of all users follow at least one musician.
This is why artists turn to Twitter first to connect with their fans — and why we wanted to find a way to surface songs people are tweeting about.”
Thanks to my friends @twittermusic for sharing your new app and connecting us thru music. Congrats!
