This evening rain will gradually clear the east and tonight will become mostly dry for a time.
Fresh southerly winds will veer westerly with the clearance and ease.
Lowest temperatures will fall to between 1 and 6 degrees with a slight frost for a time.
Southwesterly winds will freshen later as showery rain in the west pushes eastwards towards morning.
