Today
Mist and fog clearing this morning to give a dry day across much of the country with good sunny spells. Cloudier in parts of the southwest though with patchy rain, especially near the coast. A few well scattered showers elsewhere, with the possibility of the odd heavy or thundery one later in the day - northwest and southwest counties most at threat, but possibly developing across the north Leinster as well. Feeling mild with highest temperatures 15 to 18 degrees Celsius, best values further west. Light southeast will keep temperatures a little cooler along some east and south coasts.
Tonight
Most areas will be dry tonight with a mix of cloud and clear spells, and just isolated showers. Mist and fog forming locally however with little wind. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees Celsius.
