A lot of dry weather through today, however it will be mostly cloudy with some light outbreaks of rain or drizzle across the country, mist and fog near south and west coasts also. Amounts will be fairly small across most regions, with parts of Leinster and east Munster holding nearly fully dry - some sunny spells breaking through here.

Brighter weather will develop across western areas during the afternoon, gradually extending countrywide later.

Mild and humid with highs of 16 to 19 or 20 degrees Celsius (best values over the north of Leinster), in light to moderate southwesterly breezes.

Long dry spells tonight but patchy rain or drizzle too, especially later. Hill and coastal fog also.
