A deckchair from the Titanic has been sold at auction in the UK for more than £100,000 (around €138,000).
The seat was located on the first class promenade deck when the luxury liner hit an iceberg and sank on its ill-fated maiden voyage in 1912.
The chair was found floating on the surface of the Atlantic Ocean by a crew sent to recover the bodies of those who died in the disaster.
An unnamed UK-based collector entered the winning bid at the auction in in Devizes, Wiltshire.
Auctioneer Andrew Aldridge told the Guardian the chair is "one of the rarest types of Titanic collectible".
The Titanic sank in the early hours of the 15th of April, 1912, after leaving Southampton on 10th of April. It is estimated around 1,500 people died in the disaster.
The 93rd anniversary of the disaster was marked earlier this week.
