Today there will be rain at first in the east and northeast, then mainly dry with sunny spells but isolated showers will occur in the west and southwest. Later this evening, showers in the southwest and west will merge to give longer outbreaks of rain. Highest temperatures 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. Moderate to fresh, southwesterly winds will back southerly, light to moderate by afternoon only to freshen again in western areas later today.
Outbreaks of rain will affect western and southern counties tonight further east and northeast will stay mainly dry with broken cloud. Winds will be moderate to fresh, southeasterly and lowest temperatures will range 6 to 10 degrees Celsius.
