New round of peace talks in Northern Ireland
The Irish and British governments begin a new round of talks with Northern Ireland's political parties on Thursday, in an effort to address the problems in the peace process.
For several months the parties in the power-sharing executive at Stormont have struggled to find agreement on a range of issues.
These include the allocation of its reduced funding from Westminster and the problems that remained unresolved after negotiations chaired by Richard Haass last year.
The Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan will travel to Belfast for the cross party meeting.
Apple launch
It’s a day for the Apple fans and tech geeks amongst us to look forward to. Apple are expected to launch their new Mac computers and iPads at an event in Cupertino, California tomorrow. The company announced the event last week with an invitation sent out saying, “It’s been way too long.”
