Three people have been arrested in connection with the investigation into the murder of a woman earlier this year.

61-year-old Patricia O'Connor's remains were found scattered in the Wicklow Mountains in June, after she had been reported missing earlier that month.

Today, a 73-year-old man was arrested in Co Meath earlier today in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, two women - aged 19 and 38 - were arrested in Dublin.

The three people are currently being held at Bray and Wicklow Garda stations.

One man has previously been charged in relation to the case, and is currently before the courts.
