Three men have been charged with assault and disorderly behaviour over an incident in Co Antrim yesterday.
Police were questioning a man yesterday afternoon after he was stopped in a car.
Three other men turned up on foot, and there was what police described as an altercation before the three ran away.
They were arrested a short time later.
All three men - aged 29, 33 and 35 - are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday March 12th.
Inspector Jim McGrillen said: "The charges relate to an incident at Minorca Place in Carrickfergus on Saturday 14th February."
"A 24 year old man, arrested in relation to this incident remains in custody helping police with their enquiries," he added.
