Two men aged in their 20s and 30s have been charged in connection with a burglary in Co Cavan.
Detectives working as part of Operation Thor responded to a burglary alert at a business premises on Main Street, Kingscourt at around 1am.
When they arrived at the scene, they were confronted by three men who were subsequently arrested.
One man, who was held at Carrickmacross garda station, has been released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
While two others will appear before Monaghan District Court today.
Operation Thor is a special national garda anti-crime programme. As part of the initiative, gardaí are targeting organised crime gangs and repeat offenders.
