Three men have appeared in court in Dublin, in connection with an investigation into burglaries.
Gardaí from Santry patrolling under Operation Thor stopped a car on the Swords Road yesterday morning.
They found a number of implements that could be used in burglaries.
Three men aged 20, 21 and 22 were arrested.
They were subsequently brought before the Criminal Courts of Justice.
Operation Thor is a special national garda anti-crime programme. As part of the initiative, gardaí are targeting organised crime gangs and repeat offenders.
Gardaí said last week they would be conducting more checkpoints and motorway patrols.
