At least three people have been killed and a number of others injured after a British embassy vehicle was hit in a suspected suicide attack in Afghanistan's capital Kabul, officials say.
Two of the fatalities have been identified as Afghan civilians.
The nationality of the remaining victims is currently unclear.
"A British embassy vehicle was attacked. There are some injuries. We are working with Afghan authorities," an embassy spokesman told the AFP news agency.
According to an Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman, the explosion wounded as many as 33 Afghan bystanders and destroyed three nearby cars.
Afghanistan's deputy interior minister General Ayub Salangi said the bomber was riding a motorcycle.
The Afghan Taliban has claimed responsibilities for the attack, the latest in a series of bombings to hit Kabul as the majority of Nato troops withdraw from the country.
The last British troops left Afghanistan last month after 13 years fighting the Taliban.
The Foreign Office said it was working with Afghan officials following the latest attack.
