Three men have been arrested in Limerick in connection with dissident republican activity.
The men, who are aged in their mid 20s to late 30s, were arrested after two cars were stopped and searched at Kyletaun in Rathkeale in the early hours of this morning.
It's a part of ongoing investigations into dissident republican activity by Gardai from the Special Detective Unit assisted by members of the Emergency Response Unit.

The three men are being held at Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick, under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
