Thousands of people have been streaming through Croke Park in Dublin hoping to secure one of 1,500 positions on offer at the Jobs Expo.
Jobs at home and abroad are being advertised with employers saying they are seeing a deficiency in language skills in the Irish labour market.
There is a busy weekend of fixtures here at Croke Park over St. Patrick's weekend but thousands are already turning out at Jones's Road, carrying CVs and notepads instead of flags and banners.
They are here for the 1,500 positions up for grabs at home and abroad at the Jobs Expo.
Several hundred of the jobs on offer are available in Canada, the UK and elsewhere.
In addition to jobs there are also CV and interview courses on offer.
Anthony D'arcy is a Jobs Expo coordinator and says confidence is the main issue for those attending.
