Thomas Cook is to close its operations here in Ireland.

The travel company's office, based in Dublin, will close and the company says it will also end its chartered flight out of Ireland.

Thomas Cook says the move is part of the strategic review of their business, which will them move online for the Irish market.

All chartered holidays for Irish customers will cease on April 30th.

Thomas Cook's website is this morning offering flights out of Dublin, but charter flights will end under the new arrangments.
