AER LINGUS STRIKE
A 24 hour strike by Aer Lingus cabin crew is underway at Dublin, Cork and Shannon Aiports.
The strike, which began at midnight, is in response to an ongoing row over rosters.
Most of the airline's flights today have been cancelled, affecting up to 30-thousand passengers. Aer Lingus says the strike action is unwarranted and harms the travelling public.
The airline says it is doing everything possible to minimise the effects of the disruption
